Dog Walk Dogs May Arrive
Usually between 11AM-12PM dog walk dogs may also arrive. Dog walk dogs to be brought round to the back field to settle before bringing into the front field following integration process. (Integration is introducing one/two dogs at a time, not letting the next dog in until those two are ignoring each other/finished greeting)
Make sure all dogs end up back in front field once they’ve all been integrated ready for PM arrivals at 1PM
12PM
Lunches
Get all dogs who need to be fed ready in the crates and the rest of the pack shut away inside one of the indoor sections to avoid resource guarding before you start plating up. The dogs are less likely to go into crates or inside when we need them to if you plate up before you have all the dogs in place and it can cause fall outs, so please make sure dogs are in place before preparing the bowls. One person plating up in the office passing over the bowls to the helper who will be standing in the front area to deliver to the dogs in the crates waiting for their meals
Please don’t forget to remove any dogs out of the area who are not receiving a feed to ensure no resource guarding causing any altercations. We see a lot of fights take place during feeding time from dogs outside of the crates if they are too close to the food and in proximity of one another
Feed the dogs
Wash up bowls after lunch feed
Check dogs again for any injuries they may have sustained during the morning one by one before you let them out of the crate/indoor area (Notify manager if any injuries found).
