TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You must ensure that your home is well secured, all windows and doors locked and any house alarms set before you leave your home under the responsibility and care of Little Paws staff. If anyone else is to be entering your home other than our members of staff while you are out, please ensure that you notify us of these visitors and supply us with their contact details to ensure the safety and security of your property and its entirety while you are away. You must supply us with a key to your home and any security codes for house alarms so we are able to deliver this service for you. Keys and alarm codes are kept in a safety deposit box and are not marked with addresses or client contact details. Our staff are rotated each week. You must be aware that we operate as a team meaning your dog will have four walkers. Only Little Paws Staff will enter your home unless otherwise notified and agreed upon with the home owner. You must sign to agree to these terms when you book in on your consultation. In the best interests of your dog, we recommend your dog is not let off of their lead at any time during their walk. This will ensure your dogs safety at all times when they are walking with us, however we can offer a disclaimer form to any dog owners wanting their dogs let off the lead during their walk. If this is an option you would like to consider, each dog walker reserves the right to refuse this option if they do not feel comfortable or confident. Your dog can be walked alone or as part of a group, which ever is your preference. We do encourage socialization with other dogs as this can be important, especially at an early age. Socialization can result in a well behaved dog and prevent aggressive behaviour later on in life.
Before you decide to book your dogs in with us, we recommend you contact us to arrange a consultation. Your consultation will give us a chance to go through a personalized care plan for your dog(s) and discuss their personality, training and personal needs including going through any health issues and application of any medication and discussing their regular dietary needs if applicable.
Your dog will be analysed during their first walk to determine whether they are nervous or aggressive towards other dogs or people. If we have any concerns or encounter any behavioural difficulties, we will notify you immediately and ask that your dog wears a muzzle for the remainder of their walks with us. This ensures the safety not only of your dog, but also in consideration and for the safety of other people and dogs around us. Little Paws staff reserve the right to refuse service at any time. Please note that your dog(s) agreed time bracket may differentiate as discussed on your consultation dependant on the play out of the day.
